About HoloX

HoloX develops MiPAX™ into practical applications across security, visualization, and product integration. We work with partners to apply the technology where it improves verification, strengthens a process, or creates a new optical capability within an existing product or service.

Heritage

HoloX builds on a serious holography lineage that runs from MIT through Zebra to HoloX. Parts of that technology heritage were used in DARPA and U.S. Armed Forces environments before being advanced toward broader industrial and commercial applications.

Legacy

1947
Holography was invented by Dennis Gabor, later awarded the 1971 Nobel Prize in Physics. His discovery laid the foundation for the advanced 3D volumetric holography.
1996
Developed at MIT and commercialized by Zebra Imaging, digital volume holography was first utilized by the U.S. military to turn satellite surveillance into physical 3D tactical maps.
2016
HoloX acquired Zebra Imaging and its complete intellectual property portfolio. Marking a turning point: the technology was expanded beyond defense, while preserving its original security-grade precision.
2020
HoloX is the world leader in volume holography, with over 25 patents and solutions for a wide range of industries
2026
IIn a global first, HoloX launches the world's first premium holographic sports collection. This collaboration marks the debut of next-generation holography in the sports world, a technological world premiere in fan engagement.
