MiPAX™
MiPAX™ is HoloX's core technology. It is a molecular-level information platform in which digital information is physically recorded inside the volume of a specialized photopolymer material, rather than stored in electronic memory.

Information Embedded in Material
With MiPAX™, information is not printed on a surface, added as a coating, or stored as a separate digital layer. It is embedded directly into the material itself as a physical state of its molecular structure. This volumetric recording mechanism enables extremely high information density, exceeding terabytes within the material.
From Light Field to Optical Structure
Reconstructed from light
MiPAX™ uses controlled coherent light fields to influence molecular structure and material density with high precision, creating a three-dimensional optical structure inside the material. Under the right optical readout conditions, that recorded field can be reconstructed again. This means MiPAX™ elements can be retrieved by optically sensitive devices, and can also be made directly visible to the naked eye as clearly perceivable optical fields.
What MiPAX™ Enables

Because HoloX controls how these structures are formed and permanently fixed in place, MiPAX™ can produce optical elements that cannot be recreated without access to HoloX's proprietary IP, process conditions, and exposure environment. These elements can be used for verification, tracking, authentication, image creation, and multiple other technology pathways unlocked by the same core platform. The visual structures created in MiPAX™ can also generate exceptional depth both inward and outward, making the technology relevant not only for control and verification but also for advanced spatial visualization.
